Gulf air defenses intercepted and destroyed multiple Iranian missiles and drones targeting civilian sites, energy facilities, and critical infrastructure across the region, officials said Friday, as attacks continued to escalate. In Saudi Arabia, air defenses downed 29 drones over the Eastern Province and Al Jouf. Kuwait’s Mina al-Ahmadi refinery, operated by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, was targeted by drones for a second consecutive day, while Bahrain said it had faced 382 attacks since the start of the war, intercepting 141 missiles and 242 drones.
